Apprenticeship Levy Funding
An HR Apprenticeship includes a CIPD Associate Diploma and is a great way for you to boost your career. Starting an apprenticeship can benefit you both personally and professionally regardless of where you are at currently with your career or your studies.
HR Apprenticeships at Level 3, 5 and 7 can be accessed by employers & employees through the levy fund, even if your organisation does not pay into it.
Levy funding if you’re a learner
Anyone aged 16+ and entitled to work in the UK can make use of levy funding. Levy funding combines paid employment with your studies, allowing you to gain new skills and knowledge whilst working.
As a levy funding learner, 80% of your time will be spent doing your job and 20% of your time will be dedicated to your studies.
Fully funded by your employer & the Government, making use of levy funding can help you gain new skills and grow your knowledge whilst earning.

Levy funding if you’re an employer
Employers that have a wages bill of £3 million + per year will have to pay an Apprenticeship Levy.
For businesses that do not have a wages bill of £3 million+ per year, you can still offer development to your employees with the Government's help, you will just pay 5% towards the cost of training & assessments.

The Apprenticeship Levy
The Apprenticeship Levy is a UK tax that can be used to fund apprenticeship training. The levy can be used for any of your employees, as long as they meet the requirements of the Skills Funding Agency (SFA).
