BN Scholarship
Each year we support three people, who would not otherwise be able to pay for the professional CIPD qualifications, to break into careers in people management, learning and development and organisational design.
Our scholarships is set up in honour of Jill Nother who drove the development of Busec Nova from 2002 to 2019.
Who is this for?
It is important to us, and to the CIPD, to see people from diverse backgrounds build careers in people management that move them into positions of influence.
Ultimately, we hope that a wider, positive impact will be achieved when others can see role models that they can identify with - ‘people like me’ - in good careers in our sector.
How does it work?
A scholarship-funded place will be available to cover 95% of the costs for one Level 3 Certificate, one Level 5 Associate Diploma and one Level 7 Advanced Diploma in 2022. Successful scholars need only pay 5% of the cost.
What is included?
Those students who are awarded a scholarship, will be supported through their qualifications on the Immersive learning plan to give them the highest level of support. They will work directly with a Programme Manager and also receive support from Student Care to complete their qualifications.
Student Care
You are never just a number to us.
The care that we offer our students really sets us apart from the competition.
It can be demoralising and frustrating if you feel that you are studying without the support you need. We want you to enjoy studying with us, so we offer two types of help through our Student Care:
- If you have technical challenges, questions about accessing material online, or need to talk about a change in circumstances that is affecting your studies, we have a Student Care Team and your personal Student Success Adviser who you can turn to for help.
- If you have questions about the work itself, a Programme Manager will be available to support you via email or an arranged call.
Our Student Care service is available to all our students on Essential, Professional and Immersive Plans.
