I spent 32 years serving the British Army and was employed in several HR and L&D roles. During my final two years of service I took a Masters Degree in International Human Resource Management.
After retiring from the Army in 2010, I had various roles in the care sector, operating as a Strategic Operations Manager with responsibility for various HR and L&D responsibilities.
I decided that I wanted to make better use of my Master’s Degree and set up my own business as a Freelance HR Consultant. Since then, I’ve supported several organisations in successfully developing their students at all levels (Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced) and across all corners of the globe.
I joined Busec Nova in 2018. I gained a Mental Health First Aider Certificate of Attendance in October 2020.
The completion of the student’s learning journey, whether that is the successful passing of an assignment or the successful award of a qualification at the end of the learning programme, gives me the most satisfaction.
Outside work, and weather permitting, I like to ride my motorbike and enjoy the wonderful Wiltshire countryside where I live. We have two horses, which keep me busy with early mornings mucking-out and some weekend shows with my daughters.
